Cromwell Panthers (Cromwell, CT) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting East Hampton Bellringers (East Hampton, CT), 70-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cromwell upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Panthers host Haddam-Killingworth (Higganum, CT) to play the Cougars in a Shoreline bout on Friday, January 6. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Haddam-Killingworth lost 49-42 in their recent league bout against Valley Regional (Deep River, CT)

Next up, the Bellringers play the North Branford Thunderbirds (North Branford, CT) in a Shoreline bout, on Friday, January 6. East Hampton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Thunderbirds come into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 57-49 league loss to Morgan (Clinton, CT).
