The Dawson Bulldogs (Dawson, TX) basketball knocked off the host Mart Panthers (Mart, TX), 38-29 in Tuesday's league test.

The Bulldogs (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Riesel (Riesel, TX). The Indians go into the 2A Region III District 18 test with a 2-12 record. In their last test, Riesel went down by Bremond (Bremond, TX), 49-35, in a league test.

The Panthers now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Axtell for a 2A Region III District 18 test on Friday, January 6. Mart will encounter a Longhorns squad coming off a 43-35 league win over Hubbard (Hubbard, TX). The Longhorns record now stands at 9-10.
