The Lanphier Lions basketball team (Springfield, IL), was tipped 60-53 in Tuesday's league outing with the visiting Decatur Eisenhower Panthers (Decatur, IL)

The Panthers (3-13) will now prepare for their outing against Glenwood (Chatham, IL). The Titans go into the Central State Eight outing with a 7-8 record. In their last outing, Glenwood was tipped by Sacred Heart-Griffin (Springfield, IL), 62-50, in a league outing.

The Lions now own a 8-4 record. They play next when they travel to Normal University for a Central State Eight outing on Friday, January 6. Lanphier will clash with a Pioneers squad coming off a 49-44 league win over Jacksonville (Jacksonville, IL). The Pioneers record now stands at 10-5.
