Denham Springs Yellowjackets (Denham Springs, LA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Episcopal Knights (Baton Rouge, LA), 55-50 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Denham Springs upgrades its record to 12-3 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to Albany (Albany, LA) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Friday, January 6. The Hornets come into the bout with a record of 1-9.

Next up, the Knights play the St. Paul's Wolves (Covington, LA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Episcopal will attempt to upgrade on its 10-7 season record.
