Delaware High School Basketball - Sussex Central knocked off by Dover

The Dover Senators basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Sussex Central Golden Knights to 42 in the Senators league triumph on Tuesday.

The Senators now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sussex Tech for a Henlopen - Northern contest on Thursday, January 5. Dover will meet a Ravens team coming off a 56-41 league loss to Caesar Rodney (Camden, DE). The Ravens record now stands at 3-4.

The Golden Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Polytech (Woodside, DE). The Panthers enter the Henlopen - Northern contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, Polytech ran past Milford (Milford, DE), 67-62, in a non-league contest.
