North Carolina High School Basketball - Salisbury trounces East Davidson

The Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC) basketball crushed the visiting East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC), 82-47 in Tuesday's league test.
The Hornets (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Lexington (Lexington, NC). The Yellowjackets come into the 1A/2A Conference 33 challenge with a 5-8 record. In their last challenge, Lexington bounced West Davidson (Lexington, NC), 46-42, in a league challenge.
Next up, the Golden Eagles confront the South Davidson Wildcats (Denton, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 33 challenge, on Friday, January 6. East Davidson will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 76-62 league loss to Thomasville (Thomasville, NC).
