In Tuesday's league outing, the Edna Cowboys (Edna, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Palacios Sharks (Palacios, TX), by a count of 58-32.
The Cowboys (6-0) will now prepare for their outing against Industrial (Vanderbilt, TX). The Cobras go into the 3A Region IV District 25 outing with a 13-6 record. In their last outing, Industrial was crushed by Columbus (Columbus, TX), 36-34, in a league outing.
The Sharks now hold a 6-10 record. They play next when they travel to Rice Consolidated for a 3A Region IV District 25 outing on Friday, January 6. Palacios will clash with a Raiders squad coming off a 65-60 league loss to Tidehaven (El Maton, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 5-8.
