The El Paso-Gridley Titans basketball team (El Paso, IL), was nudged 43-39 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Prairie Central Hawks (Fairbury, IL)
The Hawks now possess a 15-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Morton for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 10.
The Titans (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against Eureka (Eureka, IL). The Hornets come into the Heart of Illinois battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Eureka edged Roanoke-Benson (Roanoke, IL), 61-35, in a non-league battle.
