With the win, Fairmont Heights upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to Potomac (Oxon Hill, MD) to clash with the Wolverines in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 6-3. Potomac lost 58-42 in their recent league challenge against Gwynn Park (Brandywine, MD)

Next up, the Clippers confront the Crossland Cavaliers (Temple Hills, MD) in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A challenge, on Thursday, January 5. Oxon Hill will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Cavaliers come into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 92-37 league loss to Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD).
