Fellowship Academy Mustangs (Kennedale, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Highlands Blazers (Irving, TX), 62-21 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fellowship Academy upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Mustangs host Trinity (Midland, TX) to clash with the Chargers in a TAPPS 3A District 1 bout on Friday, January 6. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 3-16. Trinity lost 55-52 in their recent non-league bout against Crane (Crane, TX)

Next up, the Blazers clash with the Dallas International (Dallas, TX) in a TAPPS 2A District 3 bout, on Friday, January 6. Highlands will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
