North Carolina High School Basketball - Franklin Academy overwhelmed by North Johnston

The Franklin Academy Patriots basketball team (Wake Forest, NC), was routed 65-35 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host North Johnston Panthers (Kenly, NC)

The Panthers now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rosewood for a non-league battle on Friday, January 6. North Johnston will battle a Eagles team coming off a 65-44 non-league win over Spring Creek (Seven Springs, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 5-4.

The Patriots (9-6) will now prepare for their battle against Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC). The Fighting Red Wolves come into the non-league battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Cedar Ridge was routed by Orange (Hillsborough, NC), 57-47, in a league battle.
