Montclair Mounties (Montclair, NJ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Glen Ridge Ridgers (Glen Ridge, NJ), 69-47 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Montclair upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Mounties travel to West Essex (North Caldwell, NJ) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 10. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 6-2.

Next up, the Ridgers play the Verona Hillbillies (Verona, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 5. Glen Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Hillbillies come into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 63-46 non-league loss to Caldwell (West Caldwell, NJ).
