The Granbury Pirates basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Rider Raiders to 32 in the Pirates league triumph on Tuesday.

The Pirates now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Saginaw for a 5A Region I District 5 contest on Tuesday, January 10.

The Raiders (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Northwest (Justin, TX). The Texans enter the 5A Region I District 5 contest with a 10-12 record. In their last contest, Northwest ran past Azle (Azle, TX), 55-50, in a league contest.
