With the victory, Hanson Memorial improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Tigers host Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA) to confront the Lions in a 1A District 7 challenge on Friday, January 6. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 0-2. Covenant Christian Academy lost 75-11 in their recent league challenge against Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA)

Next up, the Bears confront the Loreauville Tigers (Loreauville, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 10. Highland Baptist Christian will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record.
