Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Upper St. Clair trounces Hempfield Area

The Upper St. Clair Panthers (Upper St. Clair, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA), 87-32 in Tuesday's league test.
The Panthers (6-5) will now prepare for their test against Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA). The Knights go into the WPIAL 6A 2 test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Norwin walloped Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA), 46-45, in a league test.
The Spartans now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Mt. Lebanon for a WPIAL 6A 2 test on Friday, January 6. Hempfield Area will encounter a Blue Devils squad coming off a 46-44 league win over Baldwin (Pittsburgh, PA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 6-4.
