The Sayre Spartans basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Henry Clay Blue Devils to 49 in the Spartans league triumph on Tuesday.
The Spartans now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Frankfort for a non-league outing on Wednesday, January 4. Sayre will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 80-56 non-league loss to Grant County (Dry Ridge, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 7-3.
