Hickman County Bulldogs (Centerville, TN) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lewis County Panthers (Hohenwald, TN), 1-0 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hickman County upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Stewart County (Dover, TN) to play the Rebels in a 2A District 11 bout on Friday, January 6. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 4-10.

Next up, the Panthers play the Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TN) in a 2A District 10 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Lewis County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 7-7 record after their 83-30 non-league win over Riverside Christian Academy (Fayetteville, TN).
