The Hoover Huskies basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Lincoln Railsplitters to 54 in the Huskies league triumph on Tuesday.

The Huskies now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roosevelt for a Freelance contest on Friday, January 6. Hoover will battle a Roughriders team coming off a 82-77 non-league win over Winterset (Winterset, IA). The Roughriders record now stands at 5-2.

The Railsplitters (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Ottumwa (Ottumwa, IA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record.
