Arkansas High School Basketball - Mountain View can't hold off Hoxie

The Hoxie Mustangs basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the host Mountain View Yellowjackets to 54 in the Mustangs league victory on Tuesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Melbourne for a 3A Region 2 contest on Friday, January 6. Hoxie will battle a Bearkatz team coming off a 58-52 non-league loss to Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR). The Bearkatz record now stands at 1-8.
The Yellowjackets (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Newport (Newport, AR). The Greyhounds come into the 3A Region 2 contest with a 6-5 record.
