Indian Hills Braves (Oakland, NJ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Pascack Hills Broncos (Montvale, NJ), 57-53 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Indian Hills upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Braves host Mahwah (Mahwah, NJ) to play the Thunderbirds in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 5. The Thunderbirds come into the bout with a record of 2-5. Mahwah lost 42-41 in their recent league bout against Westwood (Washington Township, NJ)

Next up, the Broncos play the Ramsey Rams (Ramsey, NJ) in a Big North - Patriot bout, on Thursday, January 5. Pascack Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 40-36 league win over River Dell (Oradell, NJ).
