Washington High School Basketball - Liberty trounces Interlake

The Liberty Patriots (Issaquah, WA) basketball crushed the host Interlake Saints (Bellevue, WA), 86-51 in Tuesday's league test.
The Patriots (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Lake Washington (Kirkland, WA). The Kangaroos go into the 3A KingCo test with a 9-4 record. In their last test, Lake Washington walloped Mercer Island (Mercer Island, WA), 53-51, in a league test.
The Saints now own a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Hazen for a 3A KingCo test on Friday, January 6. Interlake will encounter a Highlanders squad coming off a 47-33 league loss to Juanita (Kirkland, WA). The Highlanders record now stands at 0-7.
