The Jefferson County North Chargers basketball team scored 52 points and held the host McLouth Bulldogs to 31 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Chargers now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley Falls for a Northeast Kansas contest on Friday, January 6. Jefferson County North will battle a Dragons team coming off a 45-39 non-league loss to Jackson Heights (Holton, KS). The Dragons record now stands at 4-2.
The Bulldogs (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Jackson Heights (Holton, KS). The Cobras enter the non-league contest with a 1-4 record. In their last contest, Jackson Heights triumphed over Valley Falls (Valley Falls, KS), 45-39, in a non-league contest.
