    The Prestonwood Christian Lions (Plano, TX) basketball knocked off the host John Paul II Cardinals (Plano, TX), 68-56 in Tuesday's league test.

    The Lions (17-5) will now prepare for their test against Trinity Christian (Addison, TX). The Trojans go into the TAPPS 6A District 1 test with a 25-4 record. In their last test, Trinity Christian went down by San Marcos (San Marcos, TX), 76-47, in a non-league test.

    The Cardinals now own a 8-15 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Lynch for a TAPPS 6A District 1 test on Friday, January 6.
