Kentucky High School Basketball - Johnson Central topped by Martin County

The Martin County Cardinals basketball team scored 86 points and restricted the host Johnson Central Golden Eagles to 66 in the Cardinals league victory on Tuesday.

The Cardinals now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Paintsville for a District 57 contest on Thursday, January 5.

The Golden Eagles (4-8) will now prepare for their contest against Blazer (Ashland, KY). The Tomcats come into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Blazer was defeated by Blue Ridge (St. George, VA), 81-66, in a non-league contest.
