The Joliet Catholic Hilltoppers basketball team (Joliet, IL), was overwhelmed 60-19 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Niles Notre Dame Dons (Niles, IL)

The Dons now possess a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Saint Viator for a East Suburban Catholic battle on Friday, January 6. Niles Notre Dame will confront a Lions team coming off a 70-66 non-league loss to Niles North (Skokie, IL). The Lions record now stands at 8-9.

The Hilltoppers (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against Carmel (Mundelein, IL). The Corsairs come into the East Suburban Catholic battle with a 6-12 record. In their last battle, Carmel was overwhelmed by Lakes (Lake Villa, IL), 61-57, in a non-league battle.
