Texas High School Basketball - Kermit beaten by Tornillo

The Tornillo Coyotes ran past the visiting Kermit Yellow Jackets basketball team by a final score of 68-49 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Coyotes face the Alpine Bucks (Alpine, TX) in a 3A Region I District 4 game, on Friday, January 6. Tornillo will attempt to move on its 18-1 season record. The Bucks enter the game with a 8-8 record after their 58-44 league win over Stanton (Stanton, TX).

With the defeat, Kermit moves to 9-12 on the year. The Yellow jackets host Alpine (Alpine, TX) to face the Bucks in a 3A Region I District 4 game on Tuesday, January 10. The Bucks enter the game with a record of 8-8.
