With the win, Wylie East upgrades its record to 16-5 on the season. The Raiders travel to Rowlett (Rowlett, TX) to clash with the Eagles in a 6A Region II District 9 bout on Friday, January 6. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Rowlett lost 61-52 in their recent non-league bout against Sulphur Springs (Sulphur Springs, TX)

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Naaman Forest Rangers (Garland, TX) in a 6A Region II District 9 bout, on Friday, January 6. Lakeview Centennial will attempt to upgrade on its 3-15 season record. The Rangers go into the bout with a 5-14 record after their 66-55 league win over North Garland (Garland, TX).
