Lawrence Bulldogs (Fairfield, ME) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Nokomis Warriors (Newport, ME), 49-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Lawrence upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Messalonskee (Oakland, ME) to play the Eagles in a A North bout on Thursday, January 5. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 1-7. Messalonskee lost 59-56 in their recent league bout against Skowhegan (Skowhegan, ME)

Next up, the Warriors play the Skowhegan River Hawks (Skowhegan, ME) in a A North bout, on Thursday, January 5. Nokomis will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The River Hawks go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 59-56 league win over Messalonskee (Oakland, ME).
