The Shades Valley Mounties (Birmingham, AL) basketball felled the host Leeds Greenwave (Leeds, AL), 55-47 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Mounties (7-8) will now prepare for their test against Woodlawn (Birmingham, AL). The Colonels go into the 6A Area 10 test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Woodlawn was beaten by Ramsay (Birmingham, AL), 81-38, in a non-league test.
The Greenwave now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Pelham for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 10. Leeds will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 66-57 league loss to Briarwood Christian (Birmingham, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 11-6.
