The Liberty Blue Jays (Liberty, MO) basketball nipped the visiting Park Hill Trojans (Kansas City, MO), 80-75 in Tuesday's league test.

The Blue Jays (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Fort Zumwalt North (O'Fallon, MO). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 1-5 record. In their last test, Fort Zumwalt North was tipped by Ritenour (Overland, MO), 58-45, in a non-league test.

The Trojans now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they host Park Hill South for a Freelance test on Friday, January 6. Park Hill will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 65-60 league win over Lee's Summit (Lee's Summit, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 8-2.
