The Newton South Lions (Newton, MA) basketball nipped the visiting Lincoln-Sudbury Warriors (Sudbury, MA), 56-54 in Tuesday's league test.
The Lions (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Concord-Carlisle (Concord, MA). The Patriots go into the non-league test with a 4-2 record. In their last test, Concord-Carlisle was tipped by Waltham (Waltham, MA), 72-60, in a league test.
The Warriors now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Boston English for a non-league test on Saturday, January 7.
