The Union City Soaring Eagles basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Lincoln Lions to 43 in the Soaring Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Soaring Eagles now sport a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bayonne for a Hudson County - American contest on Thursday, January 5. Union City will battle a Bees team coming off a 58-55 league loss to Memorial (West New York, NJ). The Bees record now stands at 4-3.
The Lions (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against St. Peter's Prep (Jersey City, NJ). The Marauders come into the Hudson County - American contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, St. Peter's Prep prevailed over Union City (Union City, NJ), 79-45, in a league contest.
