In Tuesday's league outing, the Linden Tigers (Linden, NJ) basketball squad beat the visiting Westfield Blue Devils (Westfield, NJ), by a count of 54-46.
The Tigers (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Elizabeth (Elizabeth, NJ). The Minutemen go into the Union County outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Elizabeth was topped by Moon Area (Moon Township, PA), 80-63, in a non-league outing.
The Blue Devils now hold a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Plainfield for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 5. Westfield will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 52-47 non-league loss to Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-5.
