The McIntosh Chiefs basketball team (Peachtree City, GA), was nudged 53-51 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Union Grove Wolverines (McDonough, GA)

The Wolverines now possess a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eagle's Landing for a AAAAA Region 2 battle on Friday, January 6. Union Grove will confront a Eagles team coming off a 50-45 non-league win over Riviera Prep (Miami, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 14-0.

The Chiefs (7-7) will now prepare for their battle against Ola (McDonough, GA). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 1-15 record. In their last battle, Ola was nudged by Locust Grove (Locust Grove, GA), 45-37, in a non-league battle.
