In Tuesday's non-league outing, the New Site Royals (New Site, MS) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Thrasher Rebels (Booneville, MS), by a count of 73-51.
The Royals (15-4) will now prepare for their outing against Baldwyn (Baldwyn, MS). The Bearcats go into the non-league outing with a 12-0 record. In their last outing, Baldwyn smashed Okolona (Okolona, MS), 54-45, in a non-league outing.
The Rebels now hold a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Tremont for a non-league outing on Saturday, January 7. Thrasher will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 69-52 league loss to West Union (Myrtle, MS). The Eagles record now stands at 3-7.
