The Pella Christian Eagles basketball team (Pella, IA), dropped 50-42 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Newton Cardinals (Newton, IA)

The Cardinals now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Oskaloosa for a Little Hawkeye battle on Friday, January 6. Newton will battle a Indians team coming off a 62-44 league loss to Pella (Pella, IA). The Indians record now stands at 2-4.

The Eagles (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against Knoxville (Knoxville, IA). The Panthers come into the non-league battle with a 6-1 record. In their last battle, Knoxville beat Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA), 63-57, in a non-league battle.
