Northern Durham Knights (Durham, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Southern Alamance Patriots (Graham, NC), 54-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Northern Durham upgrades its record to 8-5 on the season. The Knights travel to Hillside (Durham, NC) to clash with the Hornets in a 4A Conference 30 bout on Friday, January 13. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 7-5.

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Hillside Hornets (Durham, NC) in a 4A Conference 30 bout, on Friday, January 6. Southern Alamance will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Hornets go into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 52-41 league win over East Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC).
