The Sewickley Academy basketball team (Sewickley, PA), was overwhelmed 59-36 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Northgate Flames (Pittsburgh, PA)
The Flames now possess a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hopewell for a non-league battle on Wednesday, January 4. Northgate will confront a Vikings team coming off a 71-40 non-league loss to Shenango (New Castle, PA). The Vikings record now stands at 4-7.
The (1-6) will now prepare for their battle against Aliquippa (Aliquippa, PA). The Quips come into the WPIAL 2A 1 battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Aliquippa trounced South Side (Hookstown, PA), 71-34, in a non-league battle.
