The Overton Wolverines (Memphis, TN) basketball crushed the visiting White Station Spartans (Memphis, TN), 79-57 in Tuesday's league test.
The Wolverines (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Kingsbury (Memphis, TN). The Falcons go into the 4A District 16 test with a 3-7 record. In their last test, Kingsbury walloped Craigmont (Memphis, TN), 69-65, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Whitehaven for a 4A District 16 test on Friday, January 6. White Station will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 66-51 league loss to Memphis East (Memphis, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 9-4.
