In Tuesday's league outing, the Southwest Raiders (Fort Worth, TX) basketball squad beat the visiting Polytechnic Parrots (Fort Worth, TX), by a count of 57-42.

The Raiders (8-10) will now prepare for their outing against Trimble Tech (Fort Worth, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 5A Region I District 6 outing with a 0-12 record. In their last outing, Trimble Tech was topped by Everman (Everman, TX), 62-27, in a league outing.

The Parrots now hold a 2-12 record. They play next when they host Arlington Heights for a 5A Region I District 6 outing on Friday, January 6. Polytechnic will clash with a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 66-44 league loss to Wyatt (Fort Worth, TX). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 13-8.
