With the victory, Sallisaw upgrades its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Black Diamonds travel to Checotah (Checotah, OK) to play the Wildcats in a NOAA challenge on Tuesday, January 10. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Panthers play the Gans Grizzlies (Gans, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Stigler will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 76-47 league loss to Gore (Gore, OK).
