The Thorsby Rebels basketball team scored 68 points and restricted the visiting Verbena Red Devils to 36 in the Rebels non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Rebels now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jemison for a non-league bout on Monday, January 9.
Next up, the Red Devils play the Billingsley Bears (Billingsley, AL) in a 1A Area 7 bout, on Thursday, January 12. Verbena will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record.
