The Woodland Baptist Christian Eagles basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the visiting Vandalia Christian Vikings to 46 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gospel Light Christian for a NCCSA AA West District 1 contest on Friday, January 6. Woodland Baptist Christian will battle a team coming off a 78-67 league loss to Tabernacle Christian (Hickory, NC). The record now stands at 6-6.
The Vikings (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Alamance Christian (Graham, NC). The come into the NCCSA AA West District 2 contest with a 8-5 record. In their last contest, Alamance Christian triumphed over Carolina Mustangs (Durham, NC), 68-22, in a non-league contest.
