The Lewis Lancers (Springfield, VA) basketball crushed the host Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA), 58-24 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Lancers (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Hayfield (Alexandria, VA). The Hawks go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Hayfield walloped Annandale (Annandale, VA), 63-28, in a non-league test.
The Majors now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Edison for a non-league test on Thursday, January 5. Mount Vernon will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 49-45 league loss to Justice (Falls Church, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
