Academy for Academic Excellence Knights (Apple Valley, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Excelsior Charter Eagles (Victorville, CA), 55-7 in a league bout.

With the win, Academy for Academic Excellence upgrades its record to 3-5 on the season. The Knights travel to Big Bear (Big Bear City, CA) to play the Bears in a Cross Valley bout on Friday, January 6. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Big Bear lost 40-39 in their recent league bout against University Prep (Victorville, CA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Riverside Prep Silver Knights (Oro Grande, CA) in a Cross Valley bout, on Friday, January 6. Excelsior Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Silver Knights go into the bout with a 13-3 record after their 48-37 non-league win over Loma Linda Academy (Loma Linda, CA).
