Texas High School Basketball - Alvord overwhelmed by Lindsay

The Lindsay Knights basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Alvord Bulldogs to 32 in the Knights league victory on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Muenster for a 2A Region II District 13 contest on Friday, January 6. Lindsay will battle a Hornets team coming off a 47-37 non-league win over Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX). The Hornets record now stands at 16-6.
The Bulldogs (9-11) will now prepare for their contest against Collinsville (Collinsville, TX). The Pirates come into the 2A Region II District 13 contest with a 12-10 record. In their last contest, Collinsville triumphed over Tioga (Tioga, TX), 54-44, in a league contest.
