Waukesha West Wolverines (Waukesha, WI) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Arrowhead Warhawks (Hartland, WI), 54-51 in a league bout.

With the victory, Waukesha West upgrades its record to 15-1 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to Kettle Moraine (Wales, WI) to play the Lasers in a Classic Eight bout on Thursday, January 5. The Lasers come into the bout with a record of 9-1. Kettle Moraine won 81-31 in their recent league bout against Oconomowoc (Oconomowoc, WI)

Next up, the Warhawks play the Catholic Memorial Crusaders (Waukesha, WI) in a Classic Eight bout, on Thursday, January 5. Arrowhead will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record. The Crusaders come into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 68-37 league win over Waukesha South (Waukesha, WI).
