Maine High School Basketball - Bangor Christian can't hold off Jonesport-Beals

The Jonesport-Beals Royals basketball team scored 31 points and restricted the host Bangor Christian Patriots to 27 in the Royals non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Royals now sport a 1-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Calais for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 5. Jonesport-Beals will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 44-34 league win over George Stevens Academy (Blue Hill, ME). The Blue Devils record now stands at 4-2.
The Patriots (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Deer Isle-Stonington (Deer Isle, ME). The Mariners come into the non-league contest with a 5-0 record. In their last contest, Deer Isle-Stonington edged Greenville (Greenville, ME), 36-16, in a non-league contest.
