In Tuesday's league outing, the Newfane Panthers (Newfane, NY) basketball squad beat the visiting Barker Raiders (Barker, NY), by a count of 45-26.
The Panthers (2-3) will now prepare for their outing against Royalton-Hartland (Middleport, NY). The Rams come into the Section 6 Niagara - Orleans challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Royalton-Hartland was dropped by Wilson (Wilson, NY), 58-21, in a league challenge.
Next up, the Raiders play the Albion Purple Eagles (Albion, NY) in a Section 6 Niagara - Orleans challenge, on Friday, January 6. Barker will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Purple Eagles come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 44-42 league win over Medina (Medina, NY).
