In Tuesday's league outing, the University Prep Jaguars (Victorville, CA) basketball squad edged the visiting Big Bear Bears (Big Bear City, CA), by a margin of 40-39.

The Jaguars (5-4) will now prepare for their bout against Hesperia Christian (Hesperia, CA). The Patriots come into the Cross Valley bout with a 9-4 record. In their last bout, Hesperia Christian nipped Cobalt Institute of Math & Science Academy (Victorville, CA), 45-37, in a league bout.

Next up, the Bears play the Academy for Academic Excellence Knights (Apple Valley, CA) in a Cross Valley bout, on Friday, January 6. Big Bear will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record.
